(Pronounced Mecca), DJ Mekka arrives to our team with roots steeped in the soulful sounds of Motown’s Motor City. A rising star in the DJ scene, Mekka began his formal journey under the mentorship of the renowned DJ Miami in early 2024—quickly emerging as a standout protégé.
Hailing from the vibrant suburbs of Detroit, music has always been more than a passion—it’s in his blood. Mekka’s musical foundation was laid through years of playing trumpet, saxophone, and drums, guided by a finely tuned ear and a deep appreciation for rhythm. His father, a celebrated jazz musician and founder of a Detroit-based jazz ensemble that's still lighting up local clubs after three decades, inspired Mekka's lifelong love affair with sound.
Beyond the decks, Mekka is also the visionary behind Mekka Vision, a premier media company specializing in cinematic videography and immersive event streaming.
